How to play Dawncaster: Deckbuilding RPG?
- Dawncaster is a single-player deckbuilding RPG: choose a hero, build a deck, and fight through turn-based battles while traveling across a hostile world. Each run is different, so experiment and adapt 😏.
- Start a New Run
- Open the game and tap “New Run”. Choose a difficulty and a hero class. Read the brief description of each class to see its playstyle, then confirm to enter the world map.
- Build Your Starting Deck
- Before the first battle, review your starting cards and weapon. Learn what each card does (damage, armor, draw, status). Keep a balance of attack, defense, and utility so the deck doesn’t brick 💥.
- Navigate the Map
- Tap nodes on the map to move forward: battles, shops, events, and rest spots. Pick routes based on your health and gold—fight more for rewards, or detour to heal and upgrade.
