How to play FINAL FANTASY TACTICS : WotL?
- Basic Flow
- Form a party, pick a battle, position units on the map, then take turns moving, attacking, and casting abilities. Win by fulfilling the victory conditions, usually defeating key enemies or the whole opposing squad 🧠.
- Start the Story & Watch Tutorials
- Begin a New Game and follow the opening battles. The early fights act as tutorials: read on-screen tips about movement, CT (charge time), and turn order so each action feels clear, not confusing.
- Manage Party & Jobs in the Menu
- Open the Formation menu between battles. Change jobs, equip weapons and armor, and assign abilities. Check Job tree requirements to unlock advanced roles like Samurai or Summoner as JP (Job Points) are earned.
- Position Units Before Battle
- Before combat starts, select the starting tiles for each unit. Put Knights and Monks on the front line, archers and mages in the back. Use high ground and safe corners to control the map advantage 🗺️.
- Take Turns Wisely in Battle
- On each character’s turn, Move first, then Act (Attack, Ability, Item) or Wait. Always check predicted damage and hit rate. Avoid friendly fire from big spells and think two turns ahead using the turn order bar.
- Use JP to Learn Strong Skills
- After battles, spend JP in the Job menu to unlock new abilities. Grab core skills like healing, buffs, and mobility early. Remember to equip newly learned actions and support abilities before the next fight 💡.
- Save Often & Experiment
