What is Getting Over It?
Gravity-Defying Climbing Getting Over It is a physics-based climbing game where a man in a cauldron uses only a hammer to scale bizarre mountains. Every swing can send the character soaring up…or crashing all the way down 😭. Simple controls, brutal challenge, and endless “one more try” vibes.
Rage Game With a Heart This is a rage-inducing game built to test patience, focus, and stubbornness. The narrator comments on success and failure with philosophical thoughts and dry humor, turning frustration into a strangely relaxing reflection session 🧠.
Minimalist but Memorable No flashy effects, no complex UI—just rock, metal, and gravity. The clean design makes every move feel precise and personal. Every ledge reached feels like a real achievement, and every fall is a story to share with friends 😂.
Perfect for Streamers & Challengers The wild difficulty makes it a favorite for streaming, speedruns, and challenge videos. Watching others fail is hilarious, but climbing by yourself is even more unforgettable. Great for anyone who loves hard games and emotional roller coasters 🎢.

How to play Getting Over It?
- Basic Idea
- Use a single hammer to climb strange terrain. Drag, swing, and push to move. No jump button, no special skills—only physics and patience. Clear goal: reach the top without losing your mind 🤯.
- Learn the Controls
- Touch and hold the screen, then drag to rotate the hammer around the character. The hammer tip is the main contact point. Small movements = fine control; big circles = powerful swings.
- Use the Hammer to Push and Pull
- Hook the hammer on edges to pull the body up. Push against the ground or walls to launch upward. Always keep the hammer tip touching surfaces; sliding off usually leads to big falls.
- Start Slow on the First Hill
- Practice on the first rocks. Try moving in short arcs, lifting a little at a time. Don’t rush—learn how far a small drag moves the character before attempting big jumps.
- Control Power and Angle
- For long jumps, draw wide, fast circles to build momentum 💥. For tight spots, move slowly and adjust the hammer angle carefully. Think: position the hammer first, then push or pull.
- Recover After Mistakes
- If the character starts slipping, quickly hook the hammer on the nearest edge to stop the fall. Always aim for a “backup” ledge below you so mistakes don’t send you to the very bottom.
- Stay Calm and Keep Trying
- Falling is normal—sometimes from very high places 😅. Take breaks, breathe, and try again. Progress comes from learning each obstacle’s trick, not from forcing it. Over time, the same spots that felt impossible will become smooth climbs.
