How to play Marvel Contest of Champions?
- Basic Gameplay Flow
- Start by completing the tutorial, then follow the Story Quests to learn combat, earn crystals, and grow the roster. Use energy to move on maps, tap enemies to enter fights, and upgrade Champions between battles to handle tougher quests.
- Learn Core Combat Controls
- Tap for light attacks, swipe right for medium, and press-and-hold to charge heavy hits 🥊. Swipe left to dash back, and press-and-hold to block. Watch enemy patterns, bait attacks, and counter when they’re open.
- Manage Specials & Power Bar
- Landing and taking hits charges the yellow power bar. When a bar is full, tap the glowing special button to unleash Special 1, 2, or 3 🌟. Use them to trigger debuffs, big damage, or defensive buffs at the right moment.
- Build and Upgrade Your Team
- Use crystals to summon new Champions, then spend gold, ISO-8, and catalysts to level and rank them up 📈. Create teams with class advantages (Skill vs Science, Tech vs Mutant, etc.) to deal more damage and take less.
- Progress Through Story Quests
- Tap “Fight” → “Story” and choose a chapter, then a path on the map 🗺️. Each node is a battle or buff. Clear routes to reach the boss, collect rewards, and unlock higher difficulties like Heroic or Uncollected for better loot.
- Join an Alliance and Play Events
- Open the Alliance tab to join an active group 🙌. Participate in Alliance Quests, Alliance Wars, and solo or alliance events. Hitting point milestones gives shards, rank-up materials, and other items that greatly speed up progression.
- Use Resources and Energy Smartly
- Energy refills over time; spend it mainly on Story and limited-time Events ⏳. Don’t waste rank-up items on weak Champions—focus on strong 4★, 5★, or higher heroes. Check the in-game calendar and objectives every day for free rewards and boosts.
