How to play The Past Within?
- Basic Idea
- Two players, two devices, one mystery. One chooses Past, the other chooses Future. Talk constantly, describe what is seen, and use each other’s clues to solve every puzzle step by step 🧩.
- Set Up With a Friend
- Both players install the game and agree on language and chapter. Start at the same time and make sure voice chat or messaging is ready so descriptions can be shared quickly.
- Choose Roles: Past & Future
- On the role screen, one selects “Past” and the other selects “Future.” Roles change what can be seen and done, so avoid picking the same side. Later, try swapping roles for a fresh run.
- Explore and Describe Everything
