How to play XCOM 2 Collection?
- Getting Started 🎮
- Lead a resistance team from the mobile Avenger base. Manage soldiers, research alien tech, build rooms, and launch missions. Every turn matters: move carefully, use cover, and make every shot count.
- Complete the tutorial missions first to learn movement, cover, and combat basics before changing settings.
- On the Avenger, open the Command screen to scan the globe, pick missions, and gather supplies, intel, and new recruits.
- Visit the Armory to promote soldiers, choose new skills, equip armor, weapons, and special items before launching any mission.
- Use the Research lab to study alien corpses and tech; when finished, build unlocked gear in Engineering immediately.
- In missions, keep troops in full cover, use Overwatch when unsure, and flank enemies before taking risky shots.
- Watch the Avatar Project meter; prioritize story missions and key facilities so the timer never fills up and ends the campaign.
