Step 1: Clash of Clans starts with building a small village, defending it, and then attacking others to earn resources and trophies. Follow these steps to get started and actually win battles, not just watch troops run around 🤺.

Step 2: Build and Upgrade Your Village

Step 3: Complete the tutorial, then place Gold Mines, Elixir Collectors, and Storages. Upgrade Town Hall slowly, only after defenses, walls, and main troops feel strong enough.

Step 4: Set Up Strong Defenses

Step 5: Place Cannons, Archer Towers, and Walls around key buildings, not random corners. Protect Town Hall and Storages first, and avoid leaving big gaps that invite easy Giant rushes.

Step 6: Train and Mix Troops

Step 7: Open the Barracks, train Barbarians, Archers, and Giants in batches. Use cheap troops to clear outside buildings, and tougher units to break into the core and target defenses 🎯.

Step 8: Choose Targets and Scout

Step 9: Tap “Attack” and never hit “Next” blindly. Look for exposed Town Halls, full collectors, and weak walls. Avoid bases with high-level defenses and strong Clan Castle troops early on.

Step 10: Drop Troops Smartly

Step 11: Do not spam all units in one spot. Start by testing for traps with a few troops, then drop main armies in a line, followed by spells where they are fighting hardest 💣.

Step 12: Join a Clan and Grow

Step 13: Search for an active clan with helpful members and regular wars. Request troops, learn attack strategies from replays, join Clan Wars and Clan Games, and collect extra loot and magic items 😄.
